Braighe
Lodge is located outside Stornoway on the main road to the district of Point, Isle of Lewis.
The Isle of Lewis is the largest of the islands of the Outer Hebrides and an area well known for its attractions which include the Callanish Stones, Carloway Broch and the most northwesterly lighthouse at the Butt of Lewis.
There are many transport links to the island including daily flights from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Inverness and 2 daily sailings from Ullapool to Stornoway and sailings from Uig in Skye to Tarbert in Harris.
Stornoway is the only town in the Outer Hebrides and is the main administrative centre for the Islands. There are many places to enjoy and the Lanntair Arts Centre is a definite must visit.
The Outer Hebrides are an excellent location for outdoor activity and Lewis is no exception to this, with excellent surfing, walking, kayaking and kiting available.
There
is also plenty for the kids to do - from paintballing
to quad biking and the sports centres throughout the island
provide both indoor and outdoor sports facilities.
